Webflow

Webflow is a visual web development platform for designing, building, hosting and managing websites, with styling that stays close to how HTML and CSS work.

What it means in practice

In Webflow, designers build pages in a visual interface that maps directly to web structure. Elements, classes and layout settings correspond to HTML and CSS. That gives fine control over structure and styling, and it rewards a disciplined, well-named class system.

Webflow’s CMS is built around Collections. These are structured content types such as blog posts, case studies or integrations, each with custom fields. Collection items fill templates and lists across the site, and collections can reference each other. Webflow also offers hosting, localization, interactions and animation, plus features for larger teams.

Marketing usually edits content in the CMS or on the page, while a designer or developer handles structural changes. Many teams document their class naming system so the site stays maintainable as more people work on it.

Why it matters for B2B and AI teams

B2B companies with larger sites, many content types or several contributors often value Webflow’s structure. A well-built Webflow site with a clear CMS lets marketing publish pages, case studies and resources without engineering, and the design stays consistent.

Webflow’s control over HTML structure also helps with accessibility and technical SEO, which matter more as a site grows. For content-heavy B2B marketing, where a resource library or a large set of integration pages drives search traffic, that structure is often the deciding factor.

How we approach it

Webflow is one of the two platforms we build on, alongside Framer, and design happens in Figma first. Our Website Design + Build offer has a Webflow option for landing pages and multi-page sites.

For Arteway, an online art school taught from working artists’ studios, we designed the brand and the website, then built the site in Webflow.

FAQ

Choose based on the team that will run the site. Framer suits teams that want speed and design-led editing. Webflow suits teams that want more structural control and larger, more connected CMS setups. Both can produce fast, well-designed B2B sites.

Yes, for content. Editors can update text, images and CMS items. Structural changes are easier for someone who knows Webflow’s class system.

Webflow gives control over meta tags, URLs, redirects, sitemaps and semantic HTML. As on any platform, results depend mostly on content and site structure.
