Israel is 10 hours ahead of San Francisco for most of 2026. For a few weeks it’s 9 hours, from 8 to 26 March and from 25 to 31 October. The US and Israel change their clocks on different dates, and those dates shift a little each year.
When it’s 9am in San Francisco, it’s 7pm in Israel. Standard office hours in the two cities don’t overlap. That matters less than it sounds, because most of a project runs async, through Contra or Slack.
